The 79th of India was celebrated with great patriotism and enthusiasm at Divine Child Senior Secondary School, CBSE on 15th August 2025. The entire school campus was beautifully decorated with national flags, tricolour theme posters, and patriotic slogans.The celebration began at 8:00 a.m. with the arrival of the chief guest, Mr. Lyju Vadassery the proud father of Anisha Vadassery our school’s captain and academic topper for the year 2024 – 2025accompanied by Sr Principal and other dignitaries.The national flag was hoisted by the chief guest, followed by the singing of the national anthem, which filled everyone’s heart with pride and love for the country.
After the flag hoisting, a series of cultural performances were held. Students presented patriotic songs and speeches highlighting the importance of freedom and the sacrifices made by our great freedom fighters. The chief guest Mr. Lyju Vadassery addressed the gathering and encouraged students to be responsible citizens and contribute positively to the nation. The program concluded with a vote of thanks and the distribution of sweets to all students .The celebration of Independence Day reminded us of the great struggle and sacrifices made by countless individuals for the freedom we enjoy today. It inspired all the students and staff to uphold the values of unity, peace, and patriotism.
