Report on Parents’ Day Celebration
The Parents’ Day celebration was held at Divine Child Senior Secondary School on 23rd August 2025 with great enthusiasm. Parents attended the event in large numbers, making it a memorable occasion.
The chief guest for the program was Dr. Sister Romana Fernandes, while the guests of honour were Sister Matilda D’Mello and Sister Teresa Pinto, who graced the occasion with their presence and inspiring words.
Students from Classes 6 to 10 presented performances on the theme “Connecting to People Through Books and Not Through Media or Digital Devices.” Each class showcased their creativity and effort, highlighting the importance of reading and real connections in today’s digital world.
A major highlight of the event was the Prize Distribution Ceremony for the academic year 2024–25. The ceremony began by honoring the 10th Standard Toppers of 2024–25, who were felicitated with awards and bouquets for their outstanding performance. This was followed by the distribution of certificates to students from Classes 6 to 9, recognizing both class toppers and subject toppers for their academic excellence.
The event concluded successfully, leaving a positive message about valuing books, relationships, and meaningful connections over digital distractions.
