7th November 2015 - Children’s Day

We worry about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he is someone today.

Children are God’s gift! And childhood is all about innocence and liveliness. It is about happiness and freedom.

They smile when they receive love and admiration, they cry when it is their first day at school away from their parents, they giggle when they mingle with their buddies, and they signify nothing but the pure and faithful love. They truly symbolise God.

Children’s day is to celebrate “childhood”. On Children’s day tribute is paid to all children in the world. Children are loved by one and all. They win over our hearts with their angelic eyes and innocent smiles. Schools celebrate this day by organizing cultural programmes.

In a similar way, our teachers sang songs, enacted a song and performed dances for the students. It was indeed a pleasure and delight to see the joy and excitement on the faces of our children from the tiny tots to the students of Std. 4 to see their own teacher perform. The teachers as well were eager and enthusiastic to give off their best to the children. Students were then given an ice cream that they relished.

Children were also instructed to avoid burning crackers to save Mother Earth.

Children’s Day celebration is all about giving the child the right kind of knowledge and freedom to enjoy, so that they can grow as healthy and educated citizens of the country.Children are adorable. They are like divine gifts that parents get from the Almighty. Their eyes are full of innocence.

It makes one realise that maybe that’s the way God wanted us to be.

Children’s Day is a day for children to engage in fun and frolic

Along with this, if you can teach your child the important values of sharing and caring of what you are lucky to have, respecting others for what they are and learning from others what they do know; then your child will become a responsible human being. All these values are of great importance for the well-being of your child as he is the future of our country.
