Variety is the spice of life. Life without feasts and celebrations is charm less and lifeless. And this is so very true in the case of school life. Without functions and celebrations school life becomes monotonous and uninteresting. These celebrations add colour and charm to school life.
On 21st October, 2016 Mont I, II and III students of Divine Child Learners’ Academy celebrated “Yellow Day”. Cheerful children attired in yellow outfits were sparkling with optimism, enlightenment and happiness. Beams of yellow shades carried the promise of a positive future flashing creative thoughts in the young minds.
The motive of celebrating this yellow colour day was to make the children aware of yellow colour, its significance and to develop fine motor skills in the students. They spent the day with utmost enjoyment.
Yellow- the colour of wisdom and intellectual energy had a positive influence on our tender tots.” It is the colour of optimism and cheerfulness. Yellow is also the colour of bright sunshine that symbolizes a blissful beginning. All the children were dressed in different shades of yellow. Teachers started the session by introducing and informing children about the yellow colour they observe in their day to day life. The children enjoyed the day and went back home with a lot of knowledge about colour Yellow.
